Emperor Hotohori is the second of the Suzaku Seishi, and is an interesting guy in that his physical beauty allows him to pose equally well as a woman. In fact, after a semi-disastrous first meeting with Miaka and Tamahome, he does just that in order to speak to Miaka in person without his retainers. He's a very powerful swordsman, devoted to his country, and utterly in love with Miaka.
